X-RAY

X-rays are a type of electromagnetic radiation that have a shorter wavelength and higher energy than visible light. They were discovered by Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen in 1895, and they have since become an important tool in medicine and industry.

In industry, X-rays are used to inspect metal parts and other materials for defects or damage. X-ray machines can also be used to scan luggage and cargo for security purposes.

Although X-rays can be very useful, they can also be dangerous if not used properly. Exposure to high levels of radiation can cause damage to DNA and increase the risk of cancer. To minimize the risk of radiation exposure, X-ray technicians and other professionals who work with X-rays use protective equipment and follow strict safety guidelines.
